ZihuaTech will be an ongoing project that joins the developer skills of programmer Andrew Green of The Electric Magic Company with my design and networking skills to develop iPhone/iPad apps. Our first app -- Wellness! -- was released in the iTunes store in June 2011. Wellness! is for parents, persons with long-term health management issues and even pet owners who are looking for a multi-person (or cat) medication organizational system. The app stores prescription data, usage instructions, dosage and the course duration with alarm capabilities for each user and medication.
While Andrew focuses on making each of our apps in development *work* I am responsible for all of the design considerations including logos, graphics, backgrounds and general design/workflow consultations. In addition, I designed and maintain our website at ZihuaTech.com, using a custom Wordpress theme to promote our current products, announce apps in development and communicate with current & prospective users. The website utilizes the popular Lightbox javascript gallery to display screenshots of ZihuaTech's apps in action. Integration of social media including Facebook and Twitter will be key as we soon roll out a new iPad version of Wellness! as well begin beta testing on new apps.
