Potential "Smidgees" must agree to all the terms of on this page. Because Smidges websites are provided at a greatly reduced cost, these terms are non-negotiable. If you are unable to fit your project into the scope of these terms, then perhaps Smidges isn't right for you but please don't forget to consider a custom website design by irmacreative! The Terms of Service

  • I will consult with you to determine which Smidges is right for you but once you have chosen a layout and signed an order contract, you cannot change to a different Smidge.

  • You can not request changes to the layout of the Smidge you choose. You can opt to not include certain features but there can be no additional layouts provided. In other words, all of your pages must fit within the layout options included with your Smidge (each Smidge offers 3-6 layout options).

  • The cost of the Smidge covers, at minimum:
    • design of a unique logo
    • color, font and organization consultations
    • design of a complementary graphics suite including backgrounds, illustrative visuals, bullet points, and other features
    • a handcoded website using HTML, PHP & CSS that will work in all modern internet browsers using a predetermined Smidge layout
    • assistance choosing a domain name and signing up for web hosting
    • user manual for basic text and photo updates
    Some Smidges will include other features. Please see my pricing page for more details.

  • Not all add ons are available with every Smidge. Please inquire about the options you want prior to signing a contract to ensure they are applicable.

  • Because of the quick turnaround nature of a Smidge's development, I require first drafts of all content prior to launching a first draft of the working site.

  • Payment is taken in 2 payments. 40% is due upon the signature of the contract. This payment includes the base cost plus any add ons options. Any add ons requested during the course of the development of your Smidge must be paid for in full at the time of the request. The remaining 60% is due upon launch of the site. There are several ways to make payments including direct deposit, Paypal or check. All invoices, as well as the contract agreement, will outline these options.

  • You will be given a copy of all site files, a print-quality version of your logo and a basic user manual upon receipt of final payment.

  • You must keep the following logo on your website until you change the design:
